At last I finished a little book I have been working on for the past couple of weeks. The book is 13 x 13 cm in size and features some of my most favourite landscapes!

Felted bag April 24, 2007

Here is my new baby. Nothing to do with stamping – it’s my felted bag. Free pattern for it can be downloaded here. The bag turned out really well and I’m so pleased. It’s just the right kind of size but being 100% wool it doesn’t feel like a summer bag at all and that’s why I’m working on a similar kind of bag but out of chenille.

Moon on a stick April 23, 2007

Just a couple of ATCs I made earlier. Just in case you can’t read the small writing the pink ’S’ says: Sugar and Spice, all things nice. And the dragon one says: I’d give you a moon on a stick.  By the way, the two birds stamp and the dragon with the moon are some of my very first stamps which I bought about 10 years ago. Time flies.

Favourite stamp swap April 12, 2007

I took part in a swap called my favourite stamp. The idea was to stamp a picture of your favourite stamp to all other participants who then make a card using those picture. You then receive cards from everyone else made with your favourite stamp and hopefully get loads of new ideas how to use it.

These are the cards I made:

Faux leather April 9, 2007

I have been meaning to try the faux leather technique for ages and now I finally got round to it. I cut a piece of black fun foam and heated it up with a heat tool. When the piece was still hot I pressed a stamp on it. I highlighted the resulted embossed image with rub-ons. I thought the faux leather pieces look really cool.

All in a year’s work April 6, 2007

I made quite a few calendars for presents last Christmas and they were a big hit with everyone.

Mona

I’ve got a thing about Mona Lisa so I kept this myself.

This one is a fun tag calendar. Really simple stamping and DTP - so quick to do.

These two are our rascals.

Ella

This one is Oskar’s sister.

And these two cuties belong to a friend of mine.

Doggy holder

Doggy1

Doggy 2

This is a fun ATC sized calendar. It has a holder for all the cards and the appropriate month is displayed on the front where clear photo corners hold it in place. The holder is mounted onto a thick piece of card. Koiruuksien vuosi is a play on words. The word ‘koira’ means ‘dog’. Often dog owners call dogs ‘koiruus’ which comes from the word dog but it means ‘practical joke’ or ‘prank’. So, ‘koiruuksien vuosi’ could be understood as ’the year of the dogs’ or ‘the year of pranks’.

This one is my favourite. It uses mainly stamps by Zettiology, my favourite stamps.

Broom sticks April 5, 2007

I made this card for my MIL who just recently sent me a picture of her messing with some broom that looked like a witch’s broom stick. Just a few days ago I was going through some old issues of Craft Stamper and saw some cards with witches and the text “Gloria had her own means of transport”. That gave me the idea to use this picture on her birthday card since she happens to be called Gloria. She has the best sense of humour in the world and I am sure she will not be offended but has a good giggle instead.

No stamping on this one, just nice colours from Distress Inks. I love the retro flower punch.
