More puppy pages… Tesla was a really funny thing (and he still is) and used to sleep in the most strange places and positions.

This is the second page for my dogs’ movie book. If you didn’t get it, this is Shrek the third.

Had some leftover pieces of canvas after making the monsters. I cut them into little squares and glued them back to back. Painted the edges with silver paint and coated both sides with gel medium. After punching holes in the corners all there was left to do was hanging the squares on a bracelet with jump rings.

Industrialize it! February 18, 2009

I swear, this is the last calendar this year! This one is my favourite though. Good old Scandinavian minimalism meets industrialism. I just glued bits of aluminium tape onto chipboard and pricked all the edges to make them look riveted. I punched odd numbers and letters with metal stamps, attached piece of chain to the top and a screw brad to the bottom. Easy peasy.

I made this calendar using everything I could find already stamped. The charms at the bottom are bright orange plastic charms which I embossed with gold to make them a bit nicer. I almost melted them with the heat gun.

Scary time February 14, 2009

I have wanted to make these monsters for ages and finally I got round to it. My desk might look like a bomb went off on it but that has nothing to do with me. That desk has a life of it’s own. I am not messy and I can prove it: I was trying to be extra-super-duper messy with this canvas and failed miserably. I am incapable of being messy. Anyway, these canvas monsters are not cute and cuddly, they are lean and mean! Right?

Yet another one February 13, 2009

These calendars seem to come out of the woodwork. So, yet another one. This one is really simple and quick to make. The base is thick chipboard, as is the key which is covered in brown ink and UTEE. The heart is a piece of canvas. There is a magnet at the back of the calendar.

A house is just a house February 12, 2009

I had some diluted white paint left over once and had to use it on something, so I stamped a black card with some circles. I think it looks so cool. I could not cover it too much so I made a very simple calendar with it. The house and the tree are glued onto chipboard and covered in Crackle Accents.

Here is a close-up of the house.

I made some of these houses into pins by glueing a pin at the back.

Not only stuck with calendars, but houses as well. Here is yet another calendar. With houses.
