Atc swap October 6, 2010

After a long break from swapping, I decided to swap a few ATCs with a friend. We had the themes ‘clocks/time’ and ‘owls’ and two cards with an open theme. This is what I made. I’m into making ATCs without stamping now.

Happy Easter April 1, 2010

I was going to make some Easter cards but I never got round to it. It’s too late now. I only managed this one. It’s a postcard for a swap with a friend. It’s not really that eastery but I couldn’t get myself to do fluffy bunnies and little chicks. The word ‘pääsiäisiloa’ means ‘Easter joy’ and yes, I know, all those a’s with dots usually freak out anyone who doesn’t speak Finnish. This is nothing though; there would have been a few more a’s with dots had I used ‘Happy Easter’

A friend of mine suggested a tag swap where you travel round the world and visit 5 places. No problem. Here is my journey.

I have not done any ATCs for a long time so it was finally time to swap a couple. This swap was for Zetti ATCs.

Row houses January 14, 2009

Another day, another calendar swap. This swap was for a house shaped calendar. Anything goes, as long as it is in the shape of a house. I have not made any row houses before but I quite liked making these. As for the December’s arrow pointing at ‘naughty’… I don’t know what that is all about because I’m dead nice me! Here is what I did.

Zetti for the year ahead January 9, 2009

I swapped a calendar with a friend. It was an anything goes swap so naturally I used my favourite stamps, Zettiology. All the pages are coloured with Distress Inks and the stamped images are coloured in with coloured pencils and gelpens or they are coloured out. That is clearly visible in February and July, for excample. I just took off some of the Distress Ink with a wet paint brush. I like the effect. The first picture shows back and front cover.

Vellum ATCs October 28, 2008

Yes, we finally got some snow last night! The dogs have been pestering me about the snow since April so they were quite happy today, rolling in the snow like no tomorrow.
These ATCs were for a swap where you had to use vellum. I tried alcohol inks with vellum for the first time and it works a treat. On the card I used my two most favourite Distress Ink colours: yellow and orange. I can’t get enough of them.

Summer July 31, 2008

These ATCs were for a swap with a theme summer. Pretty simple I know, but I like looking at the sky. Fluffy clouds are nice but my favourite kind of sky is a thundery one.
