One of my most favourite sculptures is Angel of the North in Gateshead in the Northeast of England. I just love it. In fact, I love most sculptures by its designer Antony Gormley. He designs amazing and somewhat creepy human shapes and some of them have started to act as my muses. How cool is that? Here is the Angel of the North.
So, I was thinking…angel…north…yeah, need to have one of my own. This is what I came up with. I had just received my new Artgirlz stamps and Dove blender pen, which were just perfect for this. The resemblance to the real Angel of the North is just amazing, wouldn’t you say? Only, my angel is a little prettier.
