I love dominos

I love dominos! Once I start I don’t seem to be able to stop. So I made loads and I’m not done yet either.

These are little dominos with stamped images. I drilled holes in these and snapped all of the usable thin drill bits. Doh.

These are my favourites. I love purple! The celtic one has some Opaline pearls glued onto it and has a frame hanger glued at the back. The celtic image is stamped onto tissue paper which is then decoupaged on the domino.

Plenty of Brilliance inks here. The one on the left is really nice although the colour is a bit weird. It’s Olive. It’s not quite gold, not quite green. It’s rather indescribable but I like it. I also scribbled with Stardust pen which doesn’t show on the picture but it gives a nice shimmer.

The middle one went all wrong from the start. I first coated the domino with Brilliance Jade ink and heat set the ink. I then stamped the image with Thyme ink but the colour looked all wrong so I wiped it off. Well, it took the Jade ink off too but I like it. So, next I stamped Fragile with Stazon ink but it didn’t come out properly but I like that way. I’m so happy that all the things went wrong and not the way I had planned.

The one on the right is my excellent Paul Klee necklace. I also glued a strip of the same Basic Grey paper to go round the whole domino.

These ones I did ages ago but they have been collecting dust on the shelf. Now I finally glued some frame hangers on so that I can use them.
