Don’t have a cowl

Posted: October 26, 2010 in Knitting & crochet

There’s been no time to finish anything else so it’s more woollens, I’m afraid. I knitted a hat and a cowl out of some left-over yarn. The cowl is very easy, it’s just one piece, 25 x 70 cm and then the cast-on edge is weaved onto the longer edge starting from the opposite corner. Don’t know if that makes any sense but the cowl ends up with a triangle shape on the front and it’s shorter and straight at the back, so it fits nicely under a coat. I found the pattern in a blog which now has been closed and is only available for a selected audience, so she won’t get the credit, sorry.

It was left-over yarn from this jumper

All this comes in handy now when even the daytime temperatures stay way below zero.

    Another silly comment…

I’m wondering how that model gets to eat, breathe even! šŸ™‚

Good point. That must explain why she’s so dizzy and is withering away šŸ™‚
