Cheap as chips

Posted: December 3, 2010 in This & That

I have a jewellery making lark going on. I bought a bag of washers from a DIY shop for just over a Euro. Cheap as chips! Now I’ve been making brooches and pendants using various sized washers, paper scraps, bits and bobs and Glossy Accents. Would that make me a washerwoman?

A washer-women? That reminds me of a joke: An escaped lunatic enters a laundrette, rapes all of the women launderers and makes his escape. Headline in the following day’s paper reads: Nut Screws Washers and Bolts!

    Love your work!

Billie, thanks very much. I’ve been following your weather in the news ๐Ÿ™‚ We have very little snow, only about 20 cm or so but it has been really cold for over a month now. It has been down to -30C already more than once. Brrr!

Ronald, thanks ever so much. That is probably the cleverest joke I’ve ever heard. I want to change my blog name to Nut Screws Washers and Bolts! ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s perfect for someone who makes stuff.
