Toilet rolls rule, ok?

Posted: December 20, 2010 in This & That

It was knickers yesterday, toilet roll tubes today. Flatten an empty toilet roll tube and cut it into strips of even width. I cut 1.5 cm wide strips and got 6 of them out of one tube. Glue the 6 strips together from one end to form a flower shape. Cut and glue a paper circle in the middle on both sides of the flower and either leave it at that or add more things on top. Punch two holes on one of the petals and add a string.

These can be made into flowers, stars or snowflakes. The one of the left has only patterned paper in the middle. The middle flower has a bottle top on top of the patterned paper. The one of the right was painted white with gesso and it has a metal snowflake embellishment and some glitter glue.
